Colonial Day!

Last Friday, kindergarten through fifth grade stepped back in time and experienced first-hand some aspects of life in Colonial America. Each fifth grader role-played a character from the 18th century while giving an individual tour to a younger student. Stations included herbs, butter-making, leather work, sewing, and Colonial games. Through teaching and guiding others, fifth graders deepened their own understanding of life in Colonial times and experienced themselves as leaders and teachers.
Thank you so much to all of the amazing parent volunteers who helped to make this event a success!!!
