Hello!
I love teaching at Sauvie Island Academy because of the amazing community of supportive parents and teachers, incredible students, and the beautiful natural setting! I began teaching 5th grade at SIA in 2013. I received my Master's in Environmental Education from Southern Oregon University in Ashland the year before. Prior to teaching at SIA, I worked as field instructor at Multnomah County Outdoor School for several years.In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors and exploring our beautiful region, whether hiking, camping, or swimming. I also travel when I can, most recently to Central America and Portugal.
